چکیده

We present Adam, a tool for the automatic synthesis of distributed systems with multiple concurrent processes. For each process, an individual controller is synthesized that acts on locally available information obtained through synchronization with the environment and with other system processes. Adam is based on Petri games, an extension of Petri nets where each token is a player in a multiplayer game. Adam implements the first symbolic game solving algorithm for Petri games. We report on experience from several case studies with up to 38 system

Bounded Synthesis for Petri Games

Petri games, introduced in recent joint work with ErnstRüdiger Olderog, are an extension of Petri nets for the causality-based synthesis of distributed systems. In a Petri game, each token is a player in a multiplayer game, played between the “environment” and “system” teams. In this paper, we propose a new technique for finding winning strategies for the system players based on the bounded syn...

اثرات کوتاه‌مدت و بلندمدت مخارج دولت و تورم بر سرمایه‌گذاری بخش خصوصی در ایران

This article examines the relationships between government expenditures (current and capital) and private investment over the period of 1959- 2007 in Iran. To examine the long and short run relationships between model variables, the dynamic auto regression approach with distributed lag (ARDL) and the standard Granger causality relationship has been used. Findings indicate that based on long and...

Distributed Games and Distributed Control for Asynchronous Systems

We introduce distributed games over asynchronous transition systems to model a distributed controller synthesis problem. A game involves two teams and is not turn-based: several players of both teams may simultaneously be enabled. We define distributed strategies based on the causal view that players have of the system. We reduce the problem of finding a winning distributed strategy with a give...

The Impact of Human Capital on FDI with New Evidence from Bootstrap Panel Granger Causality Analysis

T his study evaluates the causality relationship between human capital and foreign direct investment inflow in twenty-six OIC (the Organization of Islamic Cooperation) countries over the period 1970–2014. We employed the panel Granger non-causality testing approach of Kònya (2006) that is based on seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) systems, and Wald tests with country specific boot...

Distributed Games with Causal Memory Are Decidable for Series-Parallel Systems

This paper deals with distributed control problems by means of distributed games played on Mazurkiewicz traces. The main difference with other notions of distributed games recently introduced is that, instead of having a local view, strategies and controllers are able to use a more accurate memory, based on their causal view. Our main result states that using the causal view makes the control s...
